Sometimes its hard to choose jewellery without seeing it in the flesh first - right? 

So we thought why not allow you the option? 

You can return any* item you purchased at to us  if you let us know within 24hrs of receipt.

We'll even pay for the return delivery!!

FREE Returns Conditions

Simply email tell us the item(s) you would like to return and fill out the information form provided by our team.

As long as the item is unworn in original condition and complete with the original packaging, (which must also be in original condition.) we will refund the purchase price (ex freight) + you even have the option to choose our Credit+ Store Credit (110% of the purchase price!) 

Once your completed form is received,  you'll receive an email from us within 1 business day including your shipping label to print out to return the item to us via courier post. *

We have 5 rules of returns,:

  1. You must notify us of your intention to return within 24hrs of the product being delivered to you. (this can be checked via our  original tracking details)
  2. Item(s) must then be returned within 4 days; 4 days starts from the date of when we have sent the return label via email to you, to when it is received at our warehouse (via courier posts overnight service- so plenty of time!)
  3. Item(s) must be unworn and unused, unaltered and unsoiled. Earrings for hygiene reasons cannot be returned (unless faulty) and
  4. Item(s) must be in the original packaging which must be in original condition. This includes all clear plastic packaging.
  5. You must package the returning item/s so as to avoid any damage in transit.

If your item matches all of these conditions, you can lodge a return – woohoo!

We have opted to allow free returns because we know how hard it can be to tell size, shape and colour just via a picture….but remember our returns policy is not a jewellery “borrowing service” we are a hardworking friendly business and our return policy has been created to allow you to shop with 100% confidence.

Occasionally, some items may be excluded from The Mint Republic’s return policy. We will always let you know when this is the case on the product page.

Anything marked as "Final Sale" cannot be returned for a refund, credit/credit+ or exchange unless faulty. Earrings for hygiene reasons cannot be returned unless deemed faulty.

Only items purchased from are applicable.

This returns policy does not extend to items purchased from a stockist of The Mint Republic Brands.

*Courier Post is our chosen provider for sending jewellery – due to their fast trusted service and insurance of product. If for any reason Courier Post cannot be used for your return, you will need to arrange an alternative courier with signature required service to return item back to us- this will be at your own cost.

Store Credit+

You can opt for The Mint Republic Store Credit+ when returning an item.

Store Credit+ is an option where you get the full amount of the original purchase + an additional 10% !!

We will create a credit voucher for you for 110% of the original purchase price!!

Yup, this means you get the full amount of the original purchase + an additional 10%

Once your return has been received and processed, The Mint Republic will create a digital voucher code (called a Credit+) which is the amount of your paid price plus 10% extra) and send to you via email,  ready to apply to your next purchase.

Please note, store credits are applied to the account/customer registered with the same email address used to place your order.

Store credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

The Free Returns Policy does not apply on Credit+ selections/purchases. 

Once store credit has been issued, that value cannot be changed to a cash refund, & cannot be transferred to another user.


Your refund will be credited to the card or account used to complete the original purchase. Please note that refunds to your card may take up to 10 working days to be processed and cleared by your bank. Taxes, duties and other customs charged are non-refundable by The Mint Republic.

Purchased Elsewhere

 If you purchased your item at one of our NZ Wide stockists, please return back to them for assessment, they will handle the return process for you. If you purchased an item from please see the information above.
